Small daily goals
Mini Goal#2: Pull-ups
As I stated previously, I have mini-exercise goals. Fitness markers that I hope to reach one day. Being able to do a pull-up/chin-up have always been a goal for me. Never mind my ULTIMATE goal is to be able to do a ONE ARM pull up! A dream I know but hey, it will be amazing if it comes true!
As female it is a pretty hard task since we are not blessed with great upper body strength and we also don’t produce high amounts of testosterone to help with muscle growth. So I have been trying to look up ways to build up my strength to be able to do one.
From what I can see is that one would need to work mostly on your back muscles (lats). It also semi-dependent on your grip strength as well. Not sure if this is correct, if not please feel free to correct me.
I’m not that tall so sometimes I can not even reach the bar itself without doing a jump to it and that is if I’m lucky to actually be able to barely reach it! Usually I kind of just hang there and try to struggle to get some upward movement. So personally I have some hurdles besides my weak upper body strength. Below are some videos I have found helpful in building up strength to not only do one but some helpful tips/exercise to keep in mind.

Helping to make those trashy shows a little bit less guilty!
This has always been a mini fitness goal of mine. Abs… I want them! I don’t want to be ripped as hell but just enough that you can see the lines of it. So I always try and fit in something for the abs.
Most of those 5 minute ab video I tried previously weren’t too difficult. I couldn’t find one that I enjoyed and that actually cause me to feel the burn the next day. Until I stumbled across this video. The routine is super simple but its the repetition of it, especially after a long cardio warm-up, that kills it
