So this is the OFFICIAL Bridemaid’s dress that I will be rocking. This was a sample sz12 I believe. It is actually very loose on me and I was trying to hold the back as I snap a pic. As you can see its fitted just slight above the waist and flows down. This is what I have to loose 0.5-1in to fit into itcomfortably.
I have 4 months to alternations to loose it! I need to get serious about this because the other option would be me getting on the crazy-but-guarantee-to-loose-the-extra-poundage diet and I really don’t want that.
I shall post a bit of my updated work out routine since it seem that it is having some effect.

So I tried on a second bridesmaid dress (a different one from the one I stated in a past post). Anyway I realized that I am 1 inch off from a smaller size. In the new BM dress I am a size 10. Everything BUT my waist is a size 8! I went a head a order the dress in the bigger size because hey its always easier to take AWAY fabric then adding to it. But now I have some numbers in perspective its time to TRIM MY WAIST! I have 3 months to do it, so wish me luck!

First off, do you know that formal dresses run small? because they do. They actually run a couple of sizes small or at least that is what I tell myself. What’s the point of me bringing this up you may ask but you see I am the Maid of Honor for a wedding coming in December!
This past weekend me and a couple of girls went to try on the dress that the bride picked out.

A gorgeous dress right? well the sample size they had was a sz12. At first I thought it was kind of big since I am around a sz4 in a Anne Taylor dress, but once we compared it to out our body, you can see that it ran kind of small. As we tried it on, I JUST fit in! I mean I cleared at the hips and bust, but it was semi-tight around the rib/tummy area. See the thing was that I gained back a bit of weight. Not much but I admit I gain back what I lost. So after seeing how I barely cleared a sz12, I have a little more than 3 months (need to factor in time for delivery and alts) to drop to a sz10 or maybe my ultimate goal of a sz8!
I know this is kind of crazy since its just a number. It should mean nothing, but in my mind I already set a dress size to be a size 8 for me. I want that sz8! so yes its crazy but at least this is giving me a goal. I have been slacking off a bit but its time to kick my ass back in LINE! Wish me luck!
